For instance, you can opt for the robot to clean up the kitchen and living rooms but be careful with the spare bedroom. The S1 Pro's front collision sensors and its smart navigation technology are also excellent and the robot is capable of detecting tiny obstacles that other models have difficulty overcoming. Its only issue is that it tends to hit objects and walls at full speed. However an inspection of the cleaning history on the app will reveal exactly what the robot completed, where it's going, and which obstacles it has stumbled upon or avoided.
A large LCD screen on the docking station shows you when maintenance tasks must be completed like emptying the debris tray, and washing the water tank that is dirty. It is also able to mix detergent into the tank in a controlled manner with a 600ml of eufy solution.
Both the S1 Pro vacuum and mop come with plenty of running time, with the mop able to operate for an 184-minute runtime in Quiet mode and the vacuum able to do 136 minutes in normal mode, before having to recharge or return to the base to refill. And you can see the entire cleaning information in the app, which is well laid out and easily understood although we would like to be able to distinguish between a vacuum only or a vacuum/mop clean when looking at a clean area in the cleaning history.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the latest version of Roborock's flagship robot vacuum and mop is the newest version. It's not like the model from last year, this one features two agitators in its mopping pad, which significantly improves its carpet cleaning capabilities. The S8 Pro Ultra has an improved suction capacity which allows it to pick up smaller hairs as well as other debris other robotic cleaners could miss.
Like the other two Roborock models I've tried it also has a 3D obstacle avoidance and infrared technology that help it avoid walls, furniture and other obstacles. The S8 Pro Ultra goes one step further by incorporating a dual-camera that can identify objects, and determine if they are walls or other surfaces. It will then automatically alter its path and clean them without missing a beat.
It's the most expensive model I've tried and it comes with the most features. Its sleek angular design is striking and comes with three physical buttons. The power button, which restarts the cleaning process mop button, which doubles as a child-lock and a home button to bring the robot to its dock. The hinged lid opens up to reveal a 350ml dustbin and 200ml of water tank. The water tank automatically emptys and the bin automatically refills.
The only issue I have found with this model is that the VibraRise mop pad mount is not removable. It is possible to replace the mopping cloth when required, but it's a challenge to take the mount off for manual washing. I've noticed that any plush carpet that the robot passes will be in contact with the Velcro-like fastener system on the mount, and that can cause scratches.
The S8 Pro Ultra has a number of smart features that include support for Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri. You can configure and manage these via the Roborock app, which is also the home of its maps and advanced mopping settings. The app allows you to plan cleanings and monitor battery life. But you'll need to jump through a few hurdles to enable voice control with this model which is unfortunate considering the performance of this model.
3. Dreame X40

The mops are also dried and cleaned inside the base station after each use. This feature is great because it prevents mould and unpleasant odours from building up in storage.
